Dear Parents,
It's Thursday already!?!?!  How can that be??? This week has just flown by!
Yesterday was such a FUN school day, with our special people here!  First grade had a wonderful time!

We had lots of people in church for Chapel!

We also learned a new game to review our words....did your firstie tell you?  It's called

 

 "Tic-Tac-Word"

We played "Tic-Tac-Word" with our special guests!  

Nouns, verbs, and now adjectives!  We are studying hard!  Today we reviewed adjectives and made faces on pumpkins to represent their chosen adjective.

Continue to quiz your firstie....at the dinner table, in the car, at the grocery store.  The more exposure that they have to words and their use, the more at ease they will be! 
Spelling test, memory test, science test, and reading tests all tomorrow!  Please make sure your firstie gets a GOOD night's sleep!
