Dear Parents,
Happy Snow
Day?
In the middle of April?
Don’t you just love it?! (Trust me, I am being quite sarcastic....)
How are the STEAM
projects going? I am looking forward to
seeing how they turn out! Remember that
a board needs to be created to show at the STEAM Fair. They are due by next Wednesday, the 25th. But of course, if you want to bring in them in sooner,
that is okay too! The STEAM Fair is next Thursday, the 26th, from
6:30-8:00. I am excited to see what
other classes did too! Hope to see you there!
Memory for this
week, each firstie will need to tell me their address and phone number. The phone number can be a cell phone number,
but please have your firstie identify whether or not it is Mom’s cell phone
number or Dad’s cell phone number. Thanks!
Our practice
spelling test will still be on Wednesday, and the regular test will be on
Friday. Thank you for helping your kiddo
prepare for these tests.
Mr. Pashak came
and read “Where the Wild Things Are”.
They loved it! We have been so
blessed to have many of you come in and read to us for Reading Month…THANK YOU!
Mrs. Dent is going
to be making a few more trips down the seminary. I just cleaned out my closet (AGAIN!) and am
able to donate more things. If you
looking to clean out closets and/or cupboards and don’t know where to bring
them….bring them to school and Mrs. Dent will happily take them down to the
sem! Thank you!
Thank you for
sending in the permission slips for Special Person’s Day. We are looking forward to presenting
Chapel. If you are not the “special
person” but still would like to come and support us for Chapel, you are more
than welcome to join us for Chapel. We
would love to see many familiar and smiling faces!
We made “suncatchers”
for our classroom window. Ask your
firstie how we made them….they were surprised and amazed….!
Blessings on your
week and hopefully (HOPEFULLY!), the weather will take a turn.
Miss Gallagher
