Dear Parents,
I hope that you
are having a good week! It’s hard to believe that it is already October! How are your routines going at home? The
routines at school are becoming easier (thank goodness!). The firsties are
learning what is expected of them and are working hard.
NWEA testing is
completed!
Thank you for making sure
that your kiddo was here for both of our tests.
You will get the results at Parent/Teacher Conferences.
We learned about
Isaac, Rebekah, and brothers Jacob and Esau in Religion and how there was a lot
of sneaky and sinful things that happened.
But God turned their hearts around and there was forgiveness.
We talk a lot about we live in a sinful world
and how we are tempted to sin. But we DO
have hope because God promises to be with us and to love us and that NOTHING is
ever impossible with Him. Here is
another song from Rend Collective. Listen
to words! Such a good reminder…
Did your firstie
tell you about one of the new activities in Daily 5? Ask your kiddo what “magic words” are! (I
wish I would have taken a video of their reactions yesterday….it was pretty
priceless!)
Don’t forget to
send back in completed BOOK IT calendars from September.
Our mission for
this month is Aaron’s Gifts from Home.
If you aren’t familiar with what that is, it is a program that sends
packages to troops overseas. We are
still taking money for our leader dog, Weston.
We are just about halfway to our goal of $500.00 for Weston, so please
consider continuing to send in your money for this great cause!
Tomorrow afternoon
we will be going out to the garden to pick gourds! Please send in grubby clothes, shoes, and
gardening gloves (if you have them!)
Thank you!
Blessings on the
rest of your week!
Miss Gallagher
