Dear Parents,
Happy Wednesday!  This morning in Chapel we were honored to host a musical group from Valley Lutheran High School, called IMAPCT. They sang to us, spoke to us, and reminded us about Good Friday.  But also reminded us that the story didn’t stop there.  Jesus didn’t stay dead….He rose again!  He did that all for us, our sins are washed away, and we are CLEAN.

Reading Month continues…!  Did your firstie show you the book that they picked out? I thought the gift of a book, was a good way to end our celebration of National Reading Month!  We have had a few more secret readers come and read to us!  Thank you for taking the time out of your day to spend a little time with us!
Mr. Schaefer read to us the book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" AND a book about a town that had 4 million wasps and the townspeople had to figure how to get rid of them.  Ask your firstie if they remember what the town did!

Olivia's Grandmother came and read to us two stories.  The first one was about a dog that ran away and what the town had to do to get him back (there were comments made about Josie's great escape...). And the second one was about feelings.

Listening intently....

Don’t forget to have your firstie bring in their reading logs!  Unfortunately, we are a little behind in our goal and that means Mrs. Klauer might not have to wear the AWESOME costumes that have been picked out for her (She is quite excited about that….let me tell you….).  Because there is no school on Friday, the last reading log is due TOMORROW (Thursday).  Please, please, please send them in!

Both the memory and spelling tests are tomorrow.  Thank you for helping your kiddo prepare for these tests!

The firsties will be bringing home all of their snow stuff tomorrow.  I know that perhaps I am being optimistic, but maybe, MAYBE they won’t need any of it after break.

If I don’t get to see all of you before the break, have a wonderful break!  I pray that you are able to take a little time to relax, spend time with friends and family and that we ALL  will be able to get ready to finish this school year strong (Can't believe that we will be into the 4th quarter when we get back)!

Blessings!
Miss Gallagher
